Now That's What I Call Music - The Christmas Album (2021 Remastered Expanded Edition) (1985)
ReplyDeleteNow - The Christmas Album is a compilation album released in 1985. The album is part of the Now! series in the United Kingdom, and collects popular Christmas songs of the last few decades.
It reached number 1 on the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, in between two runs of Now That's What I Call Music 6.
It has never been re-released in its entirety on CD, a fewer tracks version was released in 1986.
Newly compiled using the latest digital remasters - the original 1985 UK album with the complete 18 tracks (the 1986 CD had 16).
For this special 2021 remastered edition, 4 bonus tracks have been added, including 'Thanks for Christmas' by The Three Wise Men (XTC) (1983), and 'December Will Be Magic Again' by Kate Bush (1980),
which rarely show up on compilations, all released before 1985, the original album release date, making a 22 track CD with a running time of 79:35.
