ReplyDeleteNeil Diamond: 20 Golden Greats is a compilation album by Neil Diamond released by EMTV in 1978 and peaked at No. 2 in the UK album chart.
For this 2022 remaster 4 bonus tracks from 1967 to 1978 have been added, all hit singles which were not featured on the original album due to time constraints, making a 24 track CD.
Also included is the incredibly rare and hard to find original 1969 7" 45 mono single mix of 'Sweet Caroline', where the orchestra and glockenspiel are more prominent than in the mostly heard stereo album version. To my knowledge, the original mono single mix has never been released on CD.
